Information

  • This site is an active portfolio of my Art work. All the artwork displayed here is already sold. I work by commission and special orders only so that each project is individually unique and special to my clients.

  • First let me say that time on a project is all about how much detail is needed. The more detail, the longer it takes. I do nothing by machine or computer so ALL work is by hand.

Also I work on more than one project at a time so I dont burn out on someones special order. This also gets factored into how long something takes. I RUSH NOTHING.

    Large Plaques, 6-12 months

    Standing Block Carvings, 6-12 months

    Small Plaques, 3-6 months

    Whittling Comfort Creatures, 4-8 weeks

  • All projects start with a conversation of interest.

-Reach out to me through email, Tiab13@yahoo.com. We will discuss what you want and any ideas you have on details and size. (Dont worry if you dont have any im here to help with that.)

-After this initial conversation I will be able to tell you a price and give you a projected start date of your item and projected finish date.

-A deposit of HALF the total price is required before I begin any work on wood (sketching, carving, burning).

-The final amount is due before shipping the product.

  • Price depends on size, amount of details, and canvas (wood, paper, canvas board).

Large plaques with detailing like the “Our Beloved Pups” plaque can be from $500-$1000. Smaller Plaques $100-$300. Whittled Comfort Creatures $20-$50.

Pyrographic orders with no carving also depend on size and details $50-$300

  • The products I use as a finish on all my wood creations are one of the following:

    -Odie’s Oil, Butter, wax products

    -Walrus Oil products

    -Daddy Van’s products

If your wood looks dry or “thirsty” pick any of the above and follow the directions on the container.

I suggest that dusting be done gently with a clean dustpan brush.

-If needed, gently rub with fabric rag, but be careful not to break fragile carving edges.

*I do not suggest paper towels because the paper could break off or catch onto the carving*
